Crux Surge is designed to need as little of your data as possible. You can use the app without creating an account and without giving us your name or email.

What stays on your device

Your daily results, streak, settings, and endless-mode progress are stored locally on your device (and synced across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud when enabled). We do not receive or store this content on our servers.

What we collect, and why

• Anonymous usage diagnostics. We use TelemetryDeck, a privacy-first analytics service, to understand which features are used (for example, which tier is played, or how a daily board ended) and to find and fix problems. TelemetryDeck does not collect personal data: your device identifier is hashed before it ever leaves your device, and the data cannot be used to identify you.

We do not show ads, we do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers. We do not ask for tracking permission because we do not track you across other apps or websites.

Game Center

Leaderboards and streak tracking use Apple Game Center. If you sign in, Game Center is operated entirely by Apple under Apple's own privacy policy; we only receive the score you submit, never your Apple ID or any other personal information. You can play Crux Surge fully without signing in to Game Center.

Purchases

The optional espresso tip is handled by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details. Your purchase is tied to your Apple ID.

Children

Crux Surge is a general-audience puzzle game and is not directed at children under 13.

Your choices

You can reset your local progress at any time from within the app. You can limit analytics through your device settings. To request anything else, email us.
