Turn It in Your Hands
Rotate, inspect and zoom into every box. What looks like decoration is often the answer.

How it looks
Four looks inside Enigma, from the study to a clue card.
What it is
Enigma is a calm, premium puzzle game about physical objects. Each puzzle is a box you can turn, inspect and zoom into, with mechanisms that really move.
The clues are on the box itself: on its lid, its sides, its drawers. Connect them, work the mechanism they point to, and the box opens onto its next layer.
Quick boxes open in a few minutes. Master boxes are the longer shelf: layered assemblies with nested compartments, for an evening in the study.
Key features
Rotate, inspect and zoom into every box. What looks like decoration is often the answer.
Dials, drawers, switches, keys and mirrors, each with weight and travel you can feel.
A clue on the lid can unlock a drawer underneath. Every box is one connected puzzle.
A shelf of Quick boxes for a few minutes, and Master boxes for longer, layered sessions.
A contextual hint is always a tap away, and never in the way.
Every box on the shelf has three stars, so a solved box still has something left to give.
Under the hood
Every puzzle runs on one shared engine of interaction points, surfaces, mechanisms and logical dependencies. The box is only the first shape: the same engine is built for cylinders, safes and custom assemblies that open to show their insides.
That is why a clue on one face can drive a mechanism on another, and why Quick and Master boxes play by exactly the same rules.
Enigma is built in Unity for iPhone, iPad and Android, with full 3D boxes rendered in real time.
Calm by design
No countdown
There is no timer on any box. Take as long as the box takes.
Hints, not answers
A hint points you at the right part of the box without solving it for you.
A quiet study
Lamplight, wood and brass. The study is a place to sit with a box, not a menu to get through.
