Mycel: Mushroom Forest Idle Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 28, 2026
Mycel is a game about growing a living network under a forest, made by MightyS. This page explains, for this app only, what leaves your phone, where it goes and why.
1. Overview
- Mycel has no account and no sign-in. Your forest and your progress are saved on your device.
- Mycel does not track you across other apps or websites and never sells your data.
- Everything that leaves your phone is listed below with exactly what is sent.
2. What leaves your phone, and why
| When | What is sent | To whom | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| When you open the Grove (the season leaderboard) | A random identifier the app makes for itself on first launch (not your device ID, not your name), the name of your network, and your season score and stage. Like any internet request, it carries your IP address. | The MightyS leaderboard service | To rank your network on the leaderboard. The name shown is the made-up name of your network, not a person. |
| While you play, in the released app only | Anonymous gameplay events, such as session start, a pulse, a discovery, a pact, a purchase tap or an ad watched, together with the same random identifier, your language and the app version. Never money amounts, names, e-mail or location. | The MightyS analytics service | To see how the game is played and to improve it. Test and development builds send nothing. |
| When you choose to watch an ad | A request to load and show an ad. The ad network may receive your IP address and device information as part of showing an ad. | Google AdMob | To show optional ads and give you the reward you chose to watch for. See section 3. |
| When you buy something | The purchase itself, handled by Apple. | Apple | To process in-app purchases and restore them. MightyS never sees your payment details. |
3. Advertising
Mycel can show ads through Google AdMob. Rewarded ads are shown only when you choose to watch one. If you are asked for consent where the law requires it, you can decline, and the game works the same. Google's own handling of ad data is described in Google's privacy policy. Mycel does not ask to track you across other companies' apps or websites.
4. In-app purchases
Purchases are processed by Apple. MightyS receives only the fact that a purchase was made, so it can unlock what you bought. You can restore earlier purchases in the app.
5. What stays on your phone
Your forest, your settings, your language and your progress are stored only on your device. Deleting the app deletes them.
6. Children
Mycel does not knowingly collect personal information. It collects no names, e-mail addresses or location.
7. Your choices and contact
To ask about or request removal of the anonymous data linked to your random identifier, email brankoborota@gmail.com. Include your network name. Changes to this policy are posted on this page with a new date.
