Pachi Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 27, 2026
Pachi is a dice and pawns game made by MightyS. This page explains, for this game only, what is stored, what leaves your device and why.
1. Overview
- Pachi needs no email, phone number or password. The game gives you an anonymous account.
- Pachi never sells your data. Ads are optional: you see one only when you choose to watch a video or turn on the ad banner. Tracking across other apps happens only if you allow it.
- When there are not enough people online, some seats are filled by computer players. They play by the same rules and the same dice.
2. What leaves your device, and why
| When | What is sent | To whom | Why |
|---|---|---|---|
| When you open the game | A sign-in request that creates an anonymous account, and the usual connection data (your IP address). | Google Firebase Authentication, then the Pachi game server | To give you an account without asking for an email, phone or password, and to let you play online. |
| When you play online or with friends | Your anonymous account id, your chosen name and avatar, your moves and dice results for the match, and the chat reactions (emotes) you send. | The Pachi game server | To run the match fairly, show other players your name and avatar, and keep your coins, XP and stars. |
| When you choose a photo avatar (optional) | A small resized copy of the photo you pick. Only people you accepted as friends can see it. | The Pachi game server | To show your face to your friends. You can take it down at any time. |
| When you add a friend or report a player | The friend code, or the id, name and reason for the report. | The Pachi game server | To connect friends, and to keep play respectful. |
| When you open, finish or share a match | A few anonymous signals: the app was opened, a match finished (mode, number of players and result), an invitation link was opened, a link was shared. Never every tap or move. No name, no account id. | TelemetryDeck (anonymous analytics, servers in the EU) | To count how many people play per day and how many matches are played, so we can tell if the game works. |
| Only when you choose to watch an ad video or turn on the ad banner | Your device's advertising identifier (only if you allow tracking), your IP address, device and app information, and how you interacted with the ad. In the EEA, the UK and Switzerland you are asked for consent first. | Google AdMob | To show the ad and give you the coins or stars it pays, and to measure and limit ads. Ads are personalised only with your consent. |
| When you open Privacy or Terms | The link opens in your browser. | That website | You chose to open it. |
3. What the game server keeps
- Your anonymous account id (from Firebase Authentication).
- Your display name and avatar choice, and the optional photo avatar.
- Your coins, XP, stars, league points, statistics (games played and won, streaks), missions and your friends list.
- A short record of recent matches and the results of the fairness checks.
- Reports other players filed about you, and reports you filed.
- A transfer code, stored only as a one way hash, while one is active (it expires after 24 hours and works once).
The game server does not keep your email, phone number, contact list, precise location or advertising identifier. If you choose an ad, the advertising identifier goes only to Google AdMob as described above, never to our server.
4. Third-party services
| Service | What it receives | Its policy |
|---|---|---|
| Google Firebase Authentication | The anonymous sign-in request and your IP address | policies.google.com/privacy |
| Google AdMob (Google Mobile Ads) | Only if you choose an ad: the advertising identifier (if you allow tracking), IP address, device and app information, and ad interactions | policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites |
| TelemetryDeck | The anonymous signals listed above, with a random identifier that is not linked to your account | telemetrydeck.com/privacy |
5. Your rights (GDPR, UK GDPR, CCPA)
You can see, export and delete your data yourself, inside the game. Open Settings, then Move to a new phone (also reachable from your profile on the home screen). There you find:
- Copy my data: a copy of everything the server holds about your account.
- Delete my account: your account, name, avatar, photo, coins, stars, friends and statistics are deleted from the server and from this device. This cannot be undone.
You also have the right to correct, port, restrict and object, to withdraw consent, and to complain to your data protection authority. You can change your ad consent at any time in the game under Settings, Privacy choices (shown where the law requires it), and on iPhone under Settings, Privacy & Security, Tracking. For any question write to contact@mightys.dev; we answer within 30 days. We do not sell personal information.
6. Children
Pachi is not directed at children under 13 (16 in the EEA). We do not knowingly collect personal data from children. Other players can only see your chosen name and avatar, and can send you only preset reactions, not free text.
7. Retention
- Account data is kept while the account exists and is deleted when you delete the account.
- Reports filed about a player are kept as a moderation record, even after that player deletes their account, so that complaints cannot be erased by deleting the account.
- Server logs that carry an IP address are kept for a short operational period only.
- TelemetryDeck keeps anonymous signals under its own policy.
8. Security
Every connection uses encrypted HTTPS or WSS. A transfer code is stored only as a hash.
9. Changes
If Pachi starts sending anything new, this page is updated before that version is released and the date at the top changes.
