Kairos is designed to need as little of your data as possible. You can use the app without creating an account and without giving us your name or email.

What stays on your device

Your practice history, drill and mock results, readiness signal, exam date, and settings are stored locally on your device (and synced across your own Apple devices through your private iCloud when enabled). We do not receive or store this content on our servers.

What we collect, and why

  • Anonymous usage and diagnostics. We use Google Firebase (Analytics and Crashlytics) to understand which features are used and to find and fix crashes. This data is aggregated and not used to identify you.
  • Crash data. If the app crashes, technical details about the crash are sent so we can fix it.

    • We do not show ads, we do not use third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell or share your data with data brokers. We do not ask for tracking permission because we do not track you across other apps or websites.

    Purchases

    Subscriptions and the Lifetime purchase are handled by Apple through the App Store using StoreKit. Apple processes the payment; we never see your card details. Your purchase entitlement is tied to your Apple ID.

    Children

    Kairos is intended for candidates preparing for a university admissions test and is not directed at children under 13.

    Your choices

    You can reset your local progress at any time from within the app. You can limit analytics through your device settings. To request anything else, email us.
