MightyS ("we", "us", "our") is a small mobile app studio. We build utility apps, AI-powered tools, and creative apps for iOS and Android.

This Privacy Policy applies to MightyS apps that are free and supported by advertising. It describes what data these apps and their ad partners may collect, how it is used, who it is shared with, and the controls and legal rights you have, including under the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR), the UK GDPR, and the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended by the CPRA (together, "CCPA").

Many MightyS apps show no ads at all and collect nothing. Those apps are covered by our standard, ad-free policy at mightys.dev/privacy. This policy covers only the apps that display ads. Where an app has its own dedicated policy, that policy takes precedence for that app (see Section 11).

01

Overview

The apps covered by this policy are free to use and funded by ads. To show those ads, a third-party advertising network (currently Google AdMob) processes a limited set of data about your device and your interaction with the ads. Outside of advertising, these apps still follow our guiding principle: collect nothing you don't need. Most app features run entirely on your device.

What ad support means for you, in plain terms:

•  The app is free because it shows ads.
•  Ads are delivered by a third-party ad network, not by us directly.
•  To serve and measure ads, the ad network processes an advertising identifier and basic device data.
•  You can make ads non-personalized at any time (see Section 5).

Our commitments, even in ad-supported apps:

✔  We do not sell your personal data for money.
✔  We do not build our own advertising profiles about you.
✔  We collect only what the app's features and its ads require.
✔  You can always switch ads to non-personalized, or turn off ad tracking.

02

What We Collect

The table below shows the data categories that can apply to an ad-supported app. For any given app, only the relevant rows apply. Advertising data is processed by the ad network, not stored by us.

Category Description Level
App content & settings The content you create and your preferences are processed and stored on your device. This does not leave the app. On-device
Advertising identifier A resettable ad ID (Apple's IDFA on iOS, the Android Advertising ID on Android). On iOS this is only accessible if you allow tracking via the App Tracking Transparency prompt. Used by the ad network to select and measure ads. Ads
Device & connection data Device model, operating system version, language, and IP address. Your IP address gives the ad network an approximate (country or region level) location. Used to serve ads and prevent fraud. Ads
Ad interaction data Which ads were shown, viewed, or tapped. Used by the ad network for delivery, measurement, and billing. Ads
In-app purchases Where an app offers a paid "remove ads" or upgrade option, purchases are handled entirely by Apple or Google. We receive only a non-personal confirmation (product ID + transaction status). We never see your card or billing details. None (via Apple/Google)
Crash diagnostics If an app crashes, anonymized crash reports (stack trace, device model, OS version, no personal data) may be shared with us through the platform's built-in crash reporting, which you can opt out of in device settings. Minimal

App Store and Play Store labels: Because these apps use an ad network, their store privacy labels declare the relevant data types (for example, "Identifiers" and "Usage Data" linked to advertising). This is accurate. Ad-free MightyS apps declare "Data Not Collected" separately.

03

How We Use Data

Data associated with these apps is used only for the following purposes:

We do not build our own advertising profiles, and we do not combine advertising data with any other data to identify you personally. Ad selection is handled by the ad network under its own privacy policy.

Legal basis (GDPR). For core app features and fraud prevention, our basis is contract performance (Art. 6(1)(b)) and legitimate interests (Art. 6(1)(f)). For personalized advertising and any access to the advertising identifier, our basis is your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), which we request through the App Tracking Transparency prompt on iOS and a consent form in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland. You can withdraw consent at any time (see Section 5); ads then become non-personalized.

04

Advertising

Ad-supported MightyS apps display ads through a third-party advertising network. Today that network is Google AdMob. We may add or change ad networks or mediation partners over time; when we do, the current partners are listed in this section or in the app's own policy, and this document is updated.

To select, deliver, and measure ads, the ad network processes your advertising identifier, IP address, device information, and ad interaction data (see Section 2). Depending on your choices and your region, ads are either:

On iOS, before any tracking that uses the IDFA, the app presents Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt. If you decline, you still see ads, but they are non-personalized.

On Android, ad personalization may be enabled by default. You can turn it off or reset your advertising ID in your device's Google settings (see Section 5).

In the EEA, the UK, and Switzerland, we present a consent form (via Google's User Messaging Platform) on first launch and honor your choice. You can change your consent later in the app's settings.

Ad selection, targeting, and measurement are carried out by the ad network under its own privacy policy. We do not receive your advertising profile, and we do not build one ourselves. Google's use of advertising data is described in Google's advertising policies and Google's Privacy Policy.

05

Your Ad & Tracking Choices

You control whether ads are personalized. These controls do not remove ads (the app stays free and ad-supported), but they stop the ad network from using your advertising identifier to target you.

Under California law, sharing personal information with an ad network for personalized (cross-context behavioral) advertising can count as a "sale" or "share." Using the controls above is how you opt out. See Section 8 for your full California rights.

06

Third-Party Services

We use a minimal set of third-party services. Each receives only the data strictly necessary for its function. Services below are used only in apps where the relevant feature applies.

Service Purpose Data Shared Privacy Policy
Google AdMob Serving and measuring ads in ad-supported apps Advertising identifier (where permitted), IP address, device data, and ad interaction data. Governed by Google's advertising and privacy policies. policies.google.com/technologies/ads
Additional ad networks / mediation Where used, additional ad networks or mediation partners may fill ad inventory Similar advertising data as above. Current partners, where any, are named in this section or the app's own policy, each under its own privacy policy. Listed in-app when applicable.
Apple (App Store / StoreKit) In-app purchases on iOS, where applicable Apple handles all payment data. We receive a non-personal purchase receipt. apple.com/legal/privacy
Google (Play Store / Billing) In-app purchases on Android, where applicable Google handles all payment data. We receive a non-personal purchase token. policies.google.com/privacy
RevenueCat Cross-platform purchase management, in apps with a paid upgrade or remove-ads option Purchase receipts and a randomly-generated subscriber ID. No name, email, or payment details. revenuecat.com/privacy

For apps with additional third-party integrations, refer to the app-specific policy listed in Section 11.

07

Data Storage & Security

On-device data. Your app content and settings stay on your device, stored with the platform's standard secure storage (iOS Keychain for sensitive values, app-sandboxed storage for preferences and content).

Advertising data. Data used to serve ads is processed by the ad network on its own infrastructure, over encrypted connections, under its privacy policy and security practices. We do not operate a central database of user records, and we do not store your advertising identifier on our own servers.

Purchases. Purchase confirmations contain no personal data beyond a product ID and transaction status.

We cannot read or export the content you keep on your device. Deleting the app deletes all associated local data permanently, and stops the app from requesting further ads.

08

Your Rights (GDPR & CCPA)

European Economic Area & UK users (GDPR / UK GDPR) have the following rights with respect to any personal data processed in connection with these apps:

Access

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.

Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.

Erasure

Request deletion of your data. We action this within 30 days.

Portability

To make a rights request, contact us at contact@mightys.dev. We respond within 30 days of verifying your identity.

09

Children's Privacy

The apps covered by this policy are not directed at children under 13 (or under 16 in EEA jurisdictions), and we do not knowingly collect personal data from children.

Ad-supported apps are intended for general audiences. We do not knowingly serve personalized ads to children. If an app is ever directed at, or likely to be used by, children, it uses the ad network's child-directed and age-appropriate settings so that advertising is limited accordingly.

If we learn that a child under 13 has provided personal data without verifiable parental consent, we will delete it promptly. Parents or guardians with concerns may contact us at contact@mightys.dev.

10

Data Retention

11

App-Specific Policies

Some apps may have their own dedicated privacy policies that add detail specific to that app's features. Where an app-specific policy exists, it is linked within the app and on the app's page on our website, and it supersedes this policy for that app.

Where no app-specific policy is linked, this policy applies in full to the ad-supported app that references it. Apps that show no ads are covered by our standard policy at mightys.dev/privacy.

For a question about a specific app, contact us at contact@mightys.dev.

12

Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy when we release new apps, add or change ad networks, add features that involve new data practices, or as required by law. When we update it, we revise the "Last updated" date at the top of this page.

For material changes, particularly ones that introduce new advertising partners or new data collection, we will provide notice within the relevant app (for example, an in-app notice on next launch) before the change takes effect.

Your continued use of an app after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. If you do not agree, you may stop using the app and request deletion of any stored data by contacting us.
