MightyS ("we", "us", "our") operates ScentAdvisor, a free perfume recommendation app available on iOS. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect when you use the app, how we use it, and the rights you have under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and other applicable EU data protection law.
We are committed to handling your data transparently and minimally. ScentAdvisor is 100% free — we earn revenue exclusively through affiliate commissions, not by selling data.
We collect only what is necessary to provide and improve the ScentAdvisor experience.

We never collect payment information, precise location, contacts, photos, or any other sensitive personal data.

Affiliate tracking happens entirely in your device's external browser — the app itself does not set cookies. The affiliate networks may set first-party cookies in your browser to attribute your purchase and calculate our commission. You can disable cookies in your browser settings at any time.
All user data is stored in Google Firebase Firestore, with the EU (europe-west) region selected. Firebase employs industry-standard security measures including encryption in transit (TLS) and at rest (AES-256).
Perfume catalog data is also cached locally on your device in an encrypted Hive database to enable offline recommendation scoring. This local cache contains no personal data.
Access to your personal Firestore data is restricted to your authenticated UID via Firebase Security Rules. No employee or contractor can access individual user data without a verifiable support request.

Request a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
Ask us to correct inaccurate or incomplete data.
Request deletion of your account and all associated personal data.
Receive your data in a structured, machine-readable format.
Ask us to pause processing your data in certain circumstances.

Where processing is based on consent, withdraw it at any time without affecting prior processing.

To exercise any right, contact us at support@scentadvisor.app. We will respond within 30 days. Account deletion can also be triggered directly from the app's Profile screen.
ScentAdvisor is not directed at children under the age of 16. We do not knowingly collect personal data from anyone under 16. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided us with personal data, please contact us immediately at support@scentadvisor.app and we will delete the data promptly.
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date at the top of the page. For significant changes, we will notify you via an in-app notification or a prominent notice on this page. Your continued use of ScentAdvisor after any change constitutes your acceptance of the revised policy.
