Live Global Leaderboard
See exactly where your taps land among real players from every country. Rankings refresh every few minutes, not once a day.
A global tapping game
Global Tap is a one button game. Every tap adds to your personal count and to a live worldwide total, and the leaderboard shows exactly where that lands you among real players from every country.
Available on the App Store and Google Play Free to play iPhone, iPad & Android
What it does
Most tapping games measure you against yourself: a counter that only goes up, with no one else in the room. Global Tap removes the empty room. Every tap lands in a counter shared with real people playing on every continent, and the leaderboard shows exactly where you sit against them.
Global Tap is for people who want a score to chase in the time it takes to wait for a coffee. There is no tutorial, no setup, and no account required. Open the app and the button is already live, wired to a global count that resets and rebuilds every day.
The design keeps the mechanic honest. One button does the whole job: it registers the tap, updates a personal total, and feeds the world number underneath it. The map, the rankings, and the customization exist to make that one action worth watching.
Key features
Each one earns its place around the single tap button, not around it.
See exactly where your taps land among real players from every country. Rankings refresh every few minutes, not once a day.
Every tap adds to one shared counter working toward a daily target, with milestones marking the climb. The whole count resets each day.
Switch between the full world board and your own country's board, and see exactly who sits just above and below your rank.
Every tap also counts for your platform. iPhone and Android tally separate running totals in a head to head bar.
Today's count and your best run stay on screen, so there is always a number from yesterday worth beating first.
Themes, button styles, tap effects, sounds, and fonts. Over 240 cosmetic pieces earned by playing, none of them change how the game plays.
Under the hood
Global Tap runs on one continuously updating number. Each tap increments a personal counter immediately, on the device, so the button never waits on a network round trip to feel responsive. That local count then syncs in the background to a shared total that every install contributes to, which is the same number shown as the daily global goal and the world tap count on the map.
Rankings are computed from the synced totals, not from local guesses. The leaderboard shows the world board or a country-filtered board, your exact position with the players immediately above and below you, and a timestamp for how recently that snapshot was pulled, typically a few minutes old rather than instant. The global counter and the daily goal reset on a fixed cycle, shown on screen as a countdown to the next reset.
Every tap also gets attributed to a platform and a place. iPhone and Android taps are tallied into separate running totals for the Team Battle, and each player is placed on the country leaderboard using the region set on the device, all without asking for an account or a name. Taps arriving faster than a thumb can physically repeat get filtered out on the way in, which is what keeps the top of the world leaderboard a contest of persistence rather than a script.
How we handle data
Anonymous by default
A tapper handle is generated on the device. There is no sign-up, no login, and no personal information requested to play or to appear on the leaderboard.
Country level, not precise location
The flag shown next to your rank comes from the region set on your device. The app does not read or store precise GPS location.
No ads inside the loop
Tapping, checking your rank, and coming back run without interstitial or banner ads breaking up the loop.
Cosmetics don't touch gameplay
Themes, buttons, and effects earned through customization change how the app looks. None of them change how a tap is scored or ranked.
