Plant ID and care

Your plant, understood.

Plantlytics identifies a species and flags disease from a single photo, then turns that into care steps you can actually follow.

Available on the App Store and Google Play

What it does

A photo is enough to start

Most people who own plants cannot name half of them, and even fewer can tell a nutrient deficiency from a fungal infection by eye. Plantlytics turns a phone camera into a starting point for both questions: what is this plant, and what is wrong with it.

It is built for a wide range of use, from someone with a single houseplant to someone managing a field of crops. A photo of a flower, a leaf, or a whole plant goes in, and a species identification, a disease read, or a direct answer to a typed question comes back.

Before analyzing, a user can choose an advisor persona, gardener, botanist, agronomist, or a general plant helper, and pick what they actually want: an identification, a poison or edibility check, or a treatment plan for something that already looks sick. The app is free to start with a token allowance, with paid Premium removing the token limit for people who use it often.

Key features

Every tool answers one real question.

Built around the questions a plant owner actually has, not a longer feature list for its own sake.

Plant Identification

Snap a photo of a flower, herb, crop, or tree and get a species name back in seconds, from your camera or your gallery.

Disease Detection

Photograph a leaf or fruit showing symptoms and get a read on pests, fungal growth, or nutrient deficiency, with numbered treatment steps.

Choose Your Advisor

Pick a gardener, botanist, agronomist, or general plant helper before asking. The same photo gets a different depth of answer depending on who is answering.

Targeted Questions

Beyond identification: is it poisonous, is it edible, is it invasive, does it need more light. Pick a topic and get a direct answer, not a general profile.

Weather-Aware Advice

An optional location toggle lets care advice account for local weather. Off by default, and off changes nothing else about how the app works.

Free to Start

Text questions and basic analysis are free. Image analysis draws from a token balance that tops up by watching a short ad, or goes unlimited with Premium.

Under the hood

How it actually works

A session starts with a photo, taken with the in-app camera or pulled from the gallery, and an optional focus: identification, a disease check, watering, soil, light and placement, pests, or general care. That focus, together with the chosen advisor persona, shapes how the request is framed before it goes out for analysis. The result comes back as a structured, numbered breakdown rather than a single paragraph, formatted so it can be copied straight into a note or a message to a fellow grower.

Every account carries a token balance, shown in the header, that gets spent on image analysis. Typed text questions and basic analysis do not cost tokens. When the balance runs low, a user can either watch a short ad to top it up or subscribe to Premium, which removes the token ceiling and the ads entirely.

Premium is offered as two auto-renewing plans: weekly at $2.99 and yearly at $29.99. Both are billed through the App Store, renew automatically unless turned off at least 24 hours before the period ends, and can be managed or canceled from Account Settings at any time.
